MICRON-P2 Incremental Optical Linear Encoder


The MICRON-P2 series optical linear encoder is an ultra-compact optical linear encoder designed for applications where space is at a premium, such as laser scanners, CMM articulated arms, semiconductor equipment, microscopy stages, and miniaturized linear motors. Its single-track, non-polarized design ensures simple installation with high fault tolerance, while the compact readhead supports use even in ultra-high vacuum (UHV) environments. Offering incremental digital output with customizable resolution down to 10 nm, and built with a low thermal expansion glass grating for superior stability, the MICRON-P2 combines precision, reliability, and flexibility in a miniature form factor.
